Poker Video Games Well Worth Playing

There are many reasons to play poker video games. They are fun to play and involve some strategizing on your part, and when played properly they offer a payout rate ranging from 99.5% to 100.8%! In the right hands, these machines are extremely profitable.

The basic game is Jacks or Better. This is a fairly simple poker video game that is good for new players (although many seasoned veteran’s who love playing poker video games continue to play this old-time favorite). More advanced games include wild cards or multiple decks. These involve different strategies than you’ll use on Jacks or Better and offer more complicated odds.

Jacks or Better

Jacks or Better is played with a standard 52-card deck and pays at a rate of 99.5%. All you need is a pair of Jacks to win. The payouts for this game range from 1-1 for the pair to 250-1 for a royal flush.  These are also known as 9/6 machines because they pay 9-1 on full houses and 6-1 on flushes.

With many machines when you play the five-coin limit and hit a royal flush, you’ll get 800-1! That’s 4,000 coins on a five-coin wager. Look for a machine that has this feature.

There are no wild cards or other extra features on Jacks or Better. But it is a lot of fun to play and the simplicity allows players to focus on basic winning strategies that payoff.

Joker Wild

Add one more card, the Joker, to the hand and you’ve got the poker video game known as Joker Wild. Played with a 52-card standard deck plus one Joker, making for a 53-card deck, this game allows you to use the wild card to complete any of its hands. You can also pull five of a kind.

The Joker appears about 10% of the time. It is especially useful in making straights and flushes and completing full houses. Due to the fact that you have a wild card the minimum hand required for a payout on some machines is two pair and on others a pair of Kings. Poker video machines that offer cash back on Kings are preferred because they are easier to hit than those that require two pair. Five of a kind rarely comes up.

Deuces Wild

This game uses a standard 52-card deck. As it is in 5 Card Draw Deuces Wild poker, all four deuces are wild in this game. The lowest hand needed for a payout is three of a kind. That’s because the four wild cards give you a major advantage.

Of the poker video games at online casinos, this one varies quite a bit in payout rates. With deuces wild be sure to shop around for the best odds. Also, when playing this game the only single card you should ever keep would be a 2. Single Aces, Kings or any other card are not worth anything unless they are paired up. Then they have the potential to yield three, four or five of a kind after your discard. Also, flushes and straights aren’t worth much and should not be pursued.

King of the Decks

Of the various poker video games available, the King of the Decks, which is a progressive game, is the most complex. That’s because it uses five 52-card decks. That’s a total of 260 cards. This is not your typical Jacks or Better or wild card poker game.

The minimum payout is on two pair. To win the big money, the jackpot, you need to play the maximum bet and land five King of Clubs. That’s not an easy thing to do. But because the jackpot is progressive and builds up as you and others play, the payout can be very large.

If you are going to play this poker video game, you will need to take some time to read and learn all of the rules. These are quite complex and you must understand them in order to make the best choices on the cards you’ve drawn.

Jacks or Better Progressives

There are also Jacks or Better progressive video poker games. These are known as 8/5 games as they offer a lower payout on a full house (8-1) and flush (5-1) than the 9/6 poker video games. However, the progressive jackpot makes up for these lower odds as a 25-cent wager can yield a big payday. Hitting a royal flush triggers the progressive payout.

These machines should be played when the potential payout on a 25-cent wager is at least $2,240.  That’s because the overall payout percentage on these machines, which is 97.2%, is much lower than on the 9/6 machines. The house edge on this video poker machine is 2.7%, while on the 9/6 Jacks or Better it is 0.5%, which is considerably lower.

What Poker Video Games to Play

There are close to a dozen different poker video games that you can play. If you have never played before, you should start with the basic 9/6 version of Jacks or Better. Play one version of video poker until you understand it and don’t switch from something like Deuces Wild to King of the Decks since the strategyfor both games is so different. Always play at a pace that suits you and have fun! You can win if you play smart.

Shaun Deeb Takes Down Two Tournaments on Full Tilt

Shaun “tedsfishfry” Deeb has been the biggest beneficiary so far of “Double Guarantees Week” on Full Tilt Poker, taking down two 1,400+ entrant events over the past 48 hours.

Full Tilt video poker is running “Double Guarantees Week” to bring awareness to their new “Multi Entry Tournaments”. All of the Weekly Guarantees on Full Tilt Poker this week are having their guaranteed prize pools doubled, and they are all switching to the “Multiple Entry Tournament” format for the week as well. This means that the Weekly Guarantees on Full Tilt this week will have $30 million in total guaranteed prize money.

The $1k Monday last night ended up with a total of 1,454 entries which created a total prize pool of $1,454,000. This weekly event usually has a total guaranteed prize pool of $300,000. Many of the participants in last night’s $1k Monday purchased a total of four entries (the maximum for the event), which resulted in the prize pool swelling to over $1.4 million.

Shaun “tedsfishfry” Deeb was one of the players who purchased four entries, and his investment definitely paid off. Deeb ended up taking down the tournament for $312,610, his largest ever cash in a tournament.

Deeb actually ended up cashing twice in the event due to the Multiple Entry Tournament format. Deeb, as mentioned, won the tournament, but another one of his entries ended up finishing in 68th place for $2,471.80.

Deeb had this to say on Twitter after winning:

“Ohhhh nice rivers new best score 312kish was pretty awesome ft celebrating with booze”

The celebration didn’t last very long, as Deeb was right back at it on Tuesday, taking down another 1,400+ entrant tournament on Full Tilt Poker.

This time it was the Turbo $100k Guarantee ($200+$16) that Deeb took down, as he managed to navigate through a 1,415 entrant field to take down the $60,845 first place prize.

Once again Shaun “tedsfishfry” Deeb bought four entries, and once again it paid off in a large score.

Some people don’t seem to be big fans of the new “Multiple Entry Tournaments” on Full Tilt Poker, but I don’t think that Shaun Deeb is one of them.

Vipeo Poker Tips – Adapting to tournaments Limit Hold ‘em

While tournaments Hold ‘em No-Limit and Pot-Limit may seem similar to casual observers, they are actually completely different. In no-limit tournaments, a good hand can either take you to the final table, or you will promptly return to the house. This does not work like that in tournaments Limit Hold ‘em, one hand can not define your entire tournament. You should consider a tournament Limit Hold ‘em like a cash game, trying to accumulate slowly but surely, tokens and reduce errors. For players who are transitioning between No-Limit Hold’em and Limit Hold ‘em, the basic rule is to play rather tight pre-flop *, then * play looser on subsequent rounds.

In Limit Hold ‘em, you must play tighter pre-flop for several reasons. First, you’ll rarely, if ever, able to lie down a player before the flop. There is no point in trying to intimidate a player before the flop.

In addition, you will see many more showdowns * in No-Limit than Limit. You must commit Appears when you have a hand that you are confident and ready to go until the end, as * pocket pair, an ace completed a big kicker *, of suited connectors *.

The other reason to play more quietly pre-flop, there is no limit tournaments with antes. No-Limit Hold ‘em, antes come fairly quickly, and you must try to steal pots to provide a “passive erosion” of your chips. In Limit Hold ‘em, there is very little incentive to build because of the lack of antes. If you wish, you can just sit and watch the game without having to worry about your chips.

If you play tight pre-flop, so you have to play more aggressive after the flop. Again, there are several reasons for this. As is the Limit, you know exactly what it will cost you to follow a player, even if you lose the hand. You will not have to pay extra fees if your opponent bluffing or trying to get one of your outs *. Moses that you’re playing against an extremely tight player, you can easily follow a few bets.

Here’s an example that perfectly illustrates my point. Say you raise with AK on the button, the big blind calls and the flop comes 9-9-2. Your opponent checks, you bet, he calls. The turn gives a 6, and you check them both. The river seems to be another card harmless but this time your opponent bets. Even if you have an ace-high *, you should not be afraid to follow. As you have shown some weakness on the turn, it could very well build with anything. While this may a pair, it may be either a card lower than your aces, or even a bluff.

In this situation, in No-Limit Hold ‘em, he could have bet half or all of the pot to force yourself to sleep, but in tournament limit you can afford to build because of probabilities. The pot is made of four, and you can just bet once to see his hand, therefore, only a quarter of the pot. Of course this also depends on the player against whom you play. While it is generally very tight and it rarely takes risks, you should fold. But if there is only one chance to bluff it, you must not hesitate.

Similarly, when you have a hand like top pair, * you should bet aggressively because many players will call with hands like ace-high or a small pair. If you’re at a table full of aggressive players, you can even raise with top pair on the river and make a value bet * with middle pair.

Can play a little more preflop Tigh, and a little more aggressive after the flop, is one of the biggest adjustments you need to do when you go to a Video Poker tournament No-Limit Hold ‘em Tournament Limit Hold’ em . Do this small modification of your game will give you a step ahead of your competitors, as many of your opponents will continue to play exactly like they do in tournament No-Limit Hold ‘em.

In the further you go with should only if you have good starting hands. Otherwise fit better. No one is perfect, all make mistakes. It is not error to commit bad. 2. Varieties
Coarse, there are two modes of play:
Tight Play
Loose Play
In Tight Play is meant that only a few, but really good hands are played. Loose play is, however, if someone is playing a large number of hands. Ideally, you combine these two types of games. If at the beginning of many players at the table are in the process rather the tight play is called for. Only if one has really good hands to play. In this case, however, as aggressive. If then in time the number of players at the table is reduced or the blinds are high, rather loose play is called for. The tight players as it can easily be stolen from the blind.
3. Slow Play
Slow play means to fake your opponent a bad hand, as it has actually. If you have pocket queens and the flop as the third lady comes or better yet, if you have example after the flop an ace flush, Do not play aggressive, but can operate them. Typical forms of slow playing are check and call with no raise or reraise. This makes it possible to run the enemy into a trap. The goal is to keep as many enemies in the game. It was not until the turn, or even the river is set as much as possible. The opponents then to doubt the strength of this hand and calling. Under the following conditions can play a Slow Play:
You have a very strong hand, and the likelihood that another player is dealt a better hand is very low.
The chances that the opponents are granted are only as good to get the second-best hand.
One should always be aware of the risk that you received with the slow playing. The more community cards are available, the greater the likelihood that an opponent has at once the strongest hand in the hands (eg flush is as always a risk).

If you know the poker, what opponents of the card has, it would be very easy to win. Therefore, art is the fact the

The reason is simply that a beginner is unpredictable. One can say that this is but a bit of video poker is the most difficult and it takes a lot of experience in order to acquire this knowledge. Especially towards the beginner, one should not so great ideas about the perfect poker strategy making. a good hand, just aggressive play at and we hope that happens to be a beginner or a road or a flush is not getting (which unfortunately happens again, however, and one with 3 aces, or the like will still lose).

The beginner may think that you can always bluff. But this is not the case. In a low limit game you can by setting a small amount no one seriously worried well. Why does a Poker Bluff only sense when it comes to a bigger pot. The goal is to outsmart the enemy, that card has that you do not have.
